On halloween 2024, some decades after the first movie, tragic events lead the Deetzs family back to that haunted house in Winter River, where Lydia (Winona Ryder) has to face Betelgeuse once again, after her daughter Astid (Jenny Ortega) finds a way to the Afterlife to talk to her long deceased father.
